Delivery startup lets restaurants keep 100% of food bill.
The Norwich Urban Collective is a new startup founded by 2 ex-Deliveroo drivers aimed at offering the same food delivery service but with lower fees for restaurants.
Having watched the large delivery platforms charging 30% while paying their delivery riders next to nothing, they set out to let the restaurant keep 100% of the food bill while providing a better service and better pay for their riders.
They have chosen the Preoday (now qikserve) platform to allow users to order their food online quickly and easily.
So far 12 restaurants in Norwich have signed up in the 8 months it has been running. They delivered 5000+ meals in their first 5 months. Definintely a good delivery model for restaurants.
