Property startup, BestBid, was founded by Tom Scarborough after he had problems selling his own home. Rather than dropping the asking price, he switched estate agents and found the new viewings generated more interest in his home.
BestBid initially lists a house with a sole agent (cheaper than listing with multiple agencies) and then automates the process of moving the home to another agent if it is not sold. This property startup has just raised £500,000 of seed funding.
